Makes 120psi so I’m hoping it’s not ruined. I need to work on other saws right now. Maybe next week I’ll pull the jug. Of course last week there was a jug on eBay

I've posted this before here, but with all the talk and photos of P series saws lately, I thought I might post it again. P50 with a 28" b/c in red cedar. Now it has a foam filter with a V-stack, haven't run it in over a year and a half unfortunately....

In case you are wondering what I did with that cedar, I cut the flare off then milled it into large 16" x 16" blocks to make end tables with.

Very nice. I do love the big P-series saws. That picture shows that you know how to fell a tree.

I got my 2 stage reeds and bypassed the govenor on my p60 today. Now I just have to find a real chunk of wood to test it.

Since I dont have one and dont know , are the P51 and P60 in the same size case? I seem to remember Bill G had a put together P51/P60 saw . Nice saw by the way TRoller .

Thank you sir, I believe the p51 is around 82cc and the p60 is 99cc.

Oops read your post wrong, yes I believe they are.

Yep the same cases, just different top ends is all.

Yep and the carb as well. The 6 cube just has the bigger top end and the manual oiler. Other than that the rest is the same.

Is there much in the way of 600 parts still available? I know the original recoil was a problem, but a F/B version eventually replaced it. Anything else inherently difficult to find? Or is everything difficult to find? LOL

My p41 has an sdc, and the 655 has a wj.

The 51 used a WJ9 and an SDC 53 as did 52 P52's nd P62's

The P50 and some P52's used SDC 53

I would not doubt there was mix and match as well.

If it helps, the venturis are WJ-9 17.46mm
SDC 53 17.48mm

Maybe. We don't have any info on main discharge nozzle size for the carbs which would affect fuel delivery. I have the PN's for the nozzles but nothing to reference them to

Do you have both carbs to try out? If so I would try both, and see what carb you like best.

Yes I actually do have them both, ok that is what I will do and report back my findings
