If I recall correctly both the fuel and oil tank on my 3200 have sheet metal halves that are epoxied into the aluminum castings, I always assumed this was a weight savings measure.

the 3200 shares a bunch of parts with similar era pioneers, clutches, rod bearings, etc. does yours still have the door over the spark plug?

I found the red kote at a radiator supply place, Pacific Radiators, on the Langley bypass. Pretty sure a qt will do me for a long time. If you need a tank done I'll loan you the can I have.

3200 got left here yesterday. needin a/f & cover, if there's any out there.
fires on squirt.

Hey Pete,

I've a 3270SC cover (minus the nut). Appropriate level of patina. Yours for the taking. I can trace and scan the filter if you are up to making a frame and using some felt.

obvious jb repairs here. it does have the plug cover. appreciate the redkote offer. not needed right now, just curious, have never seen it anywhere.

Lightweight reduction Saw, Reference- Project Z1503, August 3/1967, Derived from the 1410 Saw, started as a chain drive but failed testing.
Three prototype Gear Drives were built and tested locally here in Peterborough. These Saws were then sent to Atlanta, Georgia for test in a production market for 3 months period. A trip to Atlanta was made to repair and update these 3 saws. , 1966 reference -Z1503-14. the drive trains showed normal wear patterns.
1n assembled February 1967 Three of the Pilot run of 100 saws were tested locally for 150 hrs and the remaining 97 saws necessitated reworking before shipping to distributors.
After the pilot run had been in the field for approximantly a month a trip was made to Southern US to examine the Saws and no major faults were found with the units and considered good.

Hi all. I'm a complete noob to this site and chain saws. I tried a search but was unsuccessful, and I'm not sure this is the correct forum, or way to post an ad. I have a Pioneer 620 (from my father), which hasn't been run in approximately 6 years, and has been sitting in my garage for 5.
I know it used to run with no issues, and as far as I know it's completely original.
Other than new gas, and oil, are there any 'tips' I should follow before attempting to start? As well, can anyone point out the primer, kill switch, choke etc. I'm assuming it has these, though I could very well be wrong. Sorry if my questions are really dumb, but I won't learn any other way than to ask. Thank you.
Incidentally, I'm quite excited to get this going!!!
Thank you.
Almost forgot to mention it's a 16" bar.
Thanks.

Looking for some help to ID a part number on a clutch drum. The part number is 475213. I believe that it's for a P40 but that's just a guess based on a saw I used to have.

Anyway, I have 2 of them NOS with bearings. They don't fit anything I have or plan to get so I'd like to find someone who could use them.

Let me know if you know what they fit and if you want them.View attachment 527349

Still looking to find a home for these. I believe Lou found that they fit a 1200.

The original post is on page 520 if you want more info.
