Can anyone give me any info on a "Pioneer Easy Arc" chainsaw? I don't have it in hand, so that's all I can say for now. Looks like it was made in the '60s. It's small, somewhat XL-100-ish in appearance.

Thanks

There were quite a few models that had the easy arc. It referes to the auto decompression valve they had. Ran off a rod pushed by the starter pulley. It will have a plate on it that will tell the model number.

Thanks. This isn't actually my saw--it's a friend's. Anyway, he says it's a model 1072, made in Canada.

my friend has one that he cuts with and it will runa 16-18" bar no problem. good runnign little saws. i like the power to weight ratio. they are great for smaller stuff and limbing.

Thanks for the help. I think I might be buying this saw for the collection. Friend seems to think $15 is reasonable, so I'll see how it turns out.
