Anyone use plastic bins like the image listed for holding firewood? We use something similar for pumpkins but built a little heavier made. Recently got thinking how we could utilize these. We don't sell much firewood currently, we do sell campfire bundles like the gas stations do but not a very big amount at all. In our situation, not sure they would work but just thinking lol.

For those that use something like this, do you have an issue with the pieces being too long? Do you just cut them a little on the shorter side to make sure they fit? I do measure my wood with a stick but they not always the same length.

My bins. They're ok. No live edge the better. One side should not have a top rail or two to allow for people to grab wood from the bottom easier. Use thick board, good skids and long screws and it should last you a long time.

I use the same type for kindling at hunting and fishing camp . I recycle them through Canada Post for free , so no loss when they reach the end of their life cycle , also good for hauling small items on the quad racks lol. :dancing:

How do you get these from the Canada Post? I could use these for different types of wood, bagged BBQ wood, kindling, wood chunks.
