I’m going to finish tearing down a Canadien 170 chainsaw to restore. On the flywheel nut and clutch nut, is the threads right hand or left hand threads? I’ve never taken one of these apart before and I don’t want to mess anything up.

I think the vent is from older saws.and smaller vents newer stile.i could be wrong. I always though it might been a block. Thought may of had same filters as the old big and heavy pioneers.

Look on the other side of the handle under the carb/air filter. There should be a pressed in vent. I have like this, manual oiler only, so I consider it an early model.
