Nahhh, Butch. There is soooo much farmland that those are tree mirages. Your "minds" (all those voices) want you to believe those are trees. When you get up there, it's really just more field!

I dunno, dont look like a marrawgee when I squint, what ya'll think?

Nice looking pheasant country! okay my first passion Pheasant or at least the hounds first passion. But as far as saw's go if you want to end the search get the biggest, being more of a Husky- Jred guy I would say 3120 but I also like my 056 mag as it is old and real cool! That leaves a 880 at least it still has a H adjust on the carb but so did the old 3120! Bottom line get a old saw like a 056 or big Mac. Hell I don't care about rep but the 880 is a good one but then again I never did see one, or use one or probably ever will. But it sounds like on paper that it is the ultimate Stihl. Or you could just build what every you want if your pockets are deep!:) Or find a 125 Mac

Well since he's already got an 046 he doesn't want to go smaller!! The 046 covers other bases up to 90cc. He's a Stihl man. And that leaves 066, 088, or his beloved GO ECHO!!!!!

And with such indiscriminate lobbying as this:
O.K... I'll rep anyone that votes for the 880!

It's a no brainer!!!!

[Rep please Lakeside53]

What you cutting anyway Sawinredneck? No matter: the 088 should cope with limbs and wot knot :monkey:

I voted for the 660 seems to have a proven track record compaired to alot of the others and its a stihl.

MAN!!! Go to work, work on a car and take a nap and the world falls apart!!!!!

I will get you a picture (be a while) of where I cut wood at, it doesn't look anything like that!!! It looks like Missouri, Oak everywhere!!!!!

I do get into some large wood, but if the 046 with a 32" can't fell it, I don't need to try!!!!

I LOVE the 262xp, but am aware of the relability issues and don't want to fight with that anymore.

I voted for the 660 also.

This saw would be a great heirloom to hand down to bubba.

(Maybe the saw could circulate, among the AS members,
and we could all autograph it !!!)
What a way to ...
(GO OUT WITH A BANG !!!)

:hmm3grin2orange:

660!!!! Or a good used 066 !!!!!

Ummm, yeah. I believe Kansas has one of the most diversified species of wood of any state. That picture looks like western Kansas. There is so much awesome firewood in Eastern and Central Kansas its pitiful. The Burr Oak gets pretty thick, and there is some hickory left. Not to mention other oaks, Osage Orange, Mulberry, Walnut, Locust, etc... and thats just the better hardwoods.

LOL, #4 is a good one what ya think Troll?:greenchainsaw:

Heres a pic of the bridge I built 2 miles from my home last winter. You can see in the background the remnants of 8 cords worth of Ash and Mulberry I helped myself to from the right-of-way clearing. This is Solomon river timber. Miles and miles of it, and thats just one little river.

OK, I voted for the 880... you can rep me now! :)

I only voted for the 880 monster (man, that thing is too :censored: big for me to use) becasue there is no Stihl 361 on the list. If y'all have a 5100 up there, why no 361?

NOPE, I am dead serious!!! I want a new saw, one that will cut like the 262, but stay running!!!!
Yeah, I am a LOT goofy, but that is beside the point:dizzy:

Butch:I only burn Hedge, that is what I cut for myself. If you don't belive me, I can post some pics of the 32" burried in a 36" Hedge tree!!! Yes, I do cut wood!! Get some free time, then look up the splitter I built, wanna talk about ignorant!!!! Firewood was my main source of income during the winter for a lot of years!!!! I ust do it for fun now. I have several videos on here with numerous saws etc., I am a weekend warrior, but not an idiot!!!
