Recently sold a piece of heavy equipment and looking to get myself into a sawmill. I want something portable...as in on a trailer. I dont need anything super fancy, just a good basic sawmill I can trailer around and mill some boards with. I have zero experience with bandsaw mills so preferably something user friendly...

High on my list is a Woodland Mills HM126 Woodlander XL - at $6000/shipped (with the bigger 14 hp engine) its in my price range and seems to have mostly positive reviews.

Can anyone recommend any other mills in that price range for me to look into? With winter coming Im in no real rush to order, but I'd like to have something ordered by March or so. Thanks!

Agree with Dobbs. I have been running an EZ Boardwalk model 40 for 4 years and love. Big capacity, heavy duty, no frills saw. Owner Stanton Knox is great to deal with.
