Why are these saws INCREASING in value?

Brand new the saw was $700 - $750 in 2008.

This saw sold on FHC last November for $850 with 2 tanks of fuel through it since port work AND a 20 or 24" forester bar.

Six months later it is on the market again here with less than 3-4 tanks through it, PHO this time and a broken kill switch and seller wants $1000 (dropped to $900).

Are we going to see $1200 next time? And why are people buying saws if they don't use them?

Price is out of my range, but free bump on sale thread.

It strikes me as odd, one of the most coveted recent pro-level Husky saws due to
1) its power-to-weight
2) its reliability
and it looks like it's already been sent out and modded for MORE power to handle bigger wood, and yet it has never been used? WHY???? Why do people buy tools without the intention/need to use them?

[Rant]Yes, I also buy the fastest cars to admire them parked in my driveway, and date the hottest supermodel babes but never have sex with them. At least in a few years when I sell the car and dump the girl the next guy can feel like he's getting them in cherry condition. [/Rant]
Preach it Brother!!!!

It adds value to the sig and makes great conversation.

$680 is what I paid for the first xpw in 2008/2009.

Wow! I bought 2 XPGW of Walkers in 2007 , one in summer and one in winter
For just over $1,500 each.
Got one of Simon's at end of summer in 2008. That one was 1365 with stock limiter.

Can't recall what I payed for first 371 in '96 but the 272 was about 850 in its time.

Why is it anyone's business what saws I buy, what I do with them, or what I want to sell them for?

Facts: I hurt my back. I don't enjoy saws or tree work like I used to. I collected a few saws over the past couple of years but it's lost its luster. I prefer to buy guns and guitars now.

Hopefully this is the last saw I'll sell for a while. Im beginning to dread even logging on due to the level of unecessary nonsense on this site. I've never been anything other than kind to anyone here. Everyone enjoy your weekend.

You have no idea what this saw sold for. You know what it was listed for only. I was the seller you are referring to and you have NO idea if there was a bidding war in PM or if I dropped my price just to dump it......nor will you EVER know.

You can wonder all you want but the simple fact is the current seller and buyer agreed on a deal and it's ABSOLUTELY NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!!! Move on and find something else to focus your energy on you troll.
