I'm not talking about that guy who comes over and drinks all your beer and drives a pickup.

Here's mine. She's a 14 month old English Setter. And she goes everywhere with me(except work). She LOVES to go to the farm to cut because that means she gets to run. It's an hour drive to the farm and it just kills her. She knows every turn!

These are my Shetland Sheepdogs, Daisy is the pup. I don't take them to the woods but at the shop and around the farm; they are with me all the time. They like to help start the chainsaws and motorcycles.

    my EX cutting buddy.....

Funny that this thread should appear today. Went out cutting with the dog and wife today. Have a gentleman down the road that I'm dropping and removing 35 trees for. Working on the weekends and whenever I can get time. Usually take Kansas(my 1/2 heeler, 1/2 collie) along, as she loves the outdoors. Never been a problem until today. Was bucking up the trunck when the landowner walked up. "Your dog like chicken?" he asks......I'm puzzled. "I guess so", I reply. Now that little voice inside me is expressing concern."oh, I know it does...", he replies, cause I got dead laying hens all over the yard. OOHHH :censored::censored:!!!! He had only let the hens out this morning, as it was the first nice day in a long time. Needless to say I bought a few dead chickens, the dog was played out from chasing them all over the yard(out of my sight). The owner had a good laugh, "these things happen", he said. Dog stays home from now on.

Not the most ideal country to collect chainsaws in, is it?

This is the first Used Dog I've ever gotten. We have worked through several issues, like peeing in the house--he learned quickly not to do that, and yapping like a rat dog in the car...took several months with that. I'm his 3rd and final person, unless I croak. He likes to squish into a too small puppy bed and sleep, and has some other harmless quirks.

Here he is in the woods. He stays out of the way pretty good when I'm cutting firewood. Let's me know when people are approaching. He's pretty good for a Free To A Good Home dog.

Here's our "Indiana", wire haired terrier/kelpie cross, she's 15 years old now and can't get into the car by herself any more so we have to lift her in. For some reason she loves the drivers seat . When she was younger she could run all day and jump/scramble over a 6 ft fence 10 times a day. I had to raise the side gate to 7' to stop her getting out.
