    Damn there's nothing that gets past you guys! lmao

    Yeah the fracking chain is on backwards, lol, the guy said he used the saw last year to trim some branches, i should have asked him how well it cut.

    :ices_rofl::wtf:

    Those are the ones I hope have a good piston, many a saw has been burnt up from a chain being dull or on backwards or some combination of both.
    I was at a buddies a couple years ago and he had a new at the time ms251, having never ran one I was looking forward to trying it out, picked it up and looked at the chain which he said was brand new and I had a good laugh inside. I set the saw down and got my phone out to take a picture, he never would admit he had it on backwards if there wasn't proof!:lol:.

    He probably swapped the chain off of one of his Macs with a clutch side starter.

    I don't think the dude even had any other Macs, the only other saw in his garage was a lonely little Poulan (newer one).

    I wondered if he had the chain sharpened somewhere and put it back on backwards. Who knows... that's the used equipment gamble. Engine seems solid though based on feel.

    My Christmas present for my Dolmar 5105, a 15".050. Not a Japanese solid cnc milled bar, or a Cannon.. but the chains is Canada made. You cant always get what you want (ref. Rolling stones).

    First time posting. Been lurking around for a bit. I picked up a 372XP a couple weeks ago and a 338XPT last weekend. This is very quickly turning into an addiction!

    Looks great Mark.
    If you want to run a 20 on it it's nice to have the smaller dogs so you get more usable bar length, but it doesn't keep them as clean and scratch free :D.
    The 395 is still in the trunk o_O.

    Thank you. I haven’t got to use the 372 much yet but it sure puts a smile on my face when I do!
