Im brand new to the forum.. I just picked up a Poulan Pro 455 last week, and while I was cleaning it up, I noticed the fuel cap was extremely hard to get off. Seems like the previous owner possibly cross threaded the cap, or maybe the tank threads are damaged. I was curious to know if anyone has a fuel cap for sale? If not, would anyone know the size and pitch of the tank threads? Please let me know if anyone could help. Thanks!

Welcome to ArboristSite Harry .
I would bet that the plastic gas cap is swollen from ethanol gas . You could remove it and let it air dry a few days .

Thanks for the reply! I will give that a shot. I drained the old fuel as well. The cap appears to be cut by the tank threads.
