The tank vent on my 5200 is a screw in plug with a duck bill valve attached to it with a foam filter in a small hole on the air filter side. Mine doesn't use a line.

The part number is 530024225, it is the updated version used on the 3400/3700/4000 rear mount, and all of the 6900/7700/8500 mounts. I've seen them on eBay from pro line and chainsawr.com is also selling them, which is where I got them.

I used some of those a year ago on my 5200 and I thought that they were a little soft and the saw moved to easy. Did you have any problem with them or is it just me .

They don't feel too soft to me when I have them installed, but I haven't run the saw yet.

That's a good price chainsawr has them for. I'll have to bookmark that one, if they will fit now. Changed my mount threads in the saw to metric on the 5200. I could install timeserts if I did.

I wasn’t going to redo this 54cc 3300. Supposed to be running parts saw I bought in pieces with yellow 335 recoil. Just wanted it for the parts for my dads bought new 3300 .
Found few more recoils and those nla pulleys too. 330 3450 380 3750 and 365 3500

Above build done. 3 pulls fired on choke. Now to put a bar chain and test. Type3 later has some things different then dads Type1 that made me pull tank back off for a redo.
Got surprise. I put 16” 325 but someone had put a 3/8 rim. So 16” 3/8 k041 bar it is.
So far running cutting great.
Even though I won’t leave 3/8 set up on it.

I need to find me 1 of these series saws. I sold my husky 350 and this would replace it nicely I think
What numbers of the 3000 saw are the good ones? Which ones are the clamshell type?

Not the Poulan Pro series, but I do fancy the 1987 3000's. Great for reasonable firewood and such. Basically the performance of an 026.
