I have a Prince LS3010-2 hydraulic valve with detents on both extend and retract. Is it possible to remove the
detents to make this a spring to center valve

I looked at this parts manual couple weeks ago but missed that part.
Loosening the adjustment screw worked just like you said. I also found that a kit is available to convert a 3000 to a 3030.
I have this same valve on my splitter but this one is for a press that I'm scrounging up parts for.
    Thank You.

No problem, I probably wouldn't have responded if you hadn't said that it was a forward and reverse detent valve. I suppose you never used it on the auto extend and retract on a splitter but I'd be really curious to see how it worked. If it encountered something really gnarly, did it pop over detent, release and head back home or keep on cruising?
