Can anybody give me an idea of how much professional liability coverage to carry and how much it costs annually?? Obviously just looking for ballpark in your experience Thanks for your responses.

I used to have coverage underwritten by Westfield. I talked to my agent about adding E&O/Professional liability. That would have been about $1000 per year to add to existing policy. However, he went shopping for me and we are now underwritten by West Bend. The new policy includes Professional liability. The cost is about $600 more than the old policy. Also added $1MM umbrella coverage (required for some subcontract work I was doing - so I priced that accordingly) at $750 per year.
