got some apple, cherry and a really nice pear tree. Didn’t get much wood but it’s good stuff all solid. He said the pear was about 35 years old, to bad I killed it today but it will make some good bbq in about a year or so. My first time getting pear. I’ll season it in a special spot and probably cut my 16-18” rounds in 1/2 so it dries faster. Not going to split it since it ain’t that big of diameter. I figured he’d bring a truck to pull it out but no. Back tires came off the ground. Took about 5 tries lol. Might actually get some more pear tomorrow also a big dead walnut F08165B9-D125-4233-A6B5-D0E178786ED1.jpeg 887462E6-D9EF-447B-B363-5D9D567EBAC5.jpeg8C262B7B-4E48-4269-B7FF-17F92E6C0359.jpeg The big piece of the left fell on my nice 200$ fishing reel and bent it. Luckily still works
