98% probability it runs 7/16”.

Good luck finding enuf for a loop much less full skip.

Either way, 42” should be no problem.

Longest I have is 31”.

Finally finished modifying a 36" Husqvarna bar for the 754 and ordered micro chisel skip .404
I made a few cuts and for thumb action oiler it works pretty well. I will probably make an outside bar plate for it later.
The last picture is my new socket that fits (ONLY) a Remington super 754 chainsaw ! After I made my cuts I noticed the plug was loose so out came the grinder.

Those wanting an alternative to 7/16” chain.

Way past my budget. [emoji2960]

I believe that there's a few used ones out there, I know I saw a parts seller online with a good used one but it didn't have the bronze bushing.
That is the exact one I just put on my super 754 and it is convenient. The budget for that saw was pretty flexible because of the fact I paid 25$ for the saw and it didn't require anything to run.

That looks a lot like what I did to my Pro 88. I had the drum and clutch already. I used an aluminum/bronze alloy. It's quite hard and has held up well in other similar applications.

Doesn't look to be. FYI, coil timing is as simple as lining up the 2 legs of the lamination with the 2 marks on the case.

Thanks , ran 2 tanks through her today and she's running strong ....then gets hot and pukes gas out the muffler, its got a new carburetor on it so I'm thinking it's the gas cap vent?

First post here!!! This just showed up at my house today.....https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-REMINGTON-LOGMASTER-Chainsaw-Chain-Saw-Model-49300/193156713084?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Talked her down to $35 plus shipping. Am I crazy??? We'll have to wait and see. The 1st thing that scared me is it appears to have been helicoiled in the plug hole. I had a 14mm plug laying around and it screwed in tight so that's good. The gas tank had an acorn in it and the air filter is upside down. Needless to say I'm up for a challenge once I get the corn all picked. What do you guys think? Wall hanger or will she come back to life?
