That’s how I found new old stock rings for my Super 990.

Do you still have the numbers for the 990?
I have one that i want to bring back to life, got a barley usable piston the the rings broke trying to free them, they were cracked anyway.

The part # is so close to what I need - 65297 for the PL5.I was told that if the saw is only putting out 60 psi that new rings might not be enough to bring it back to running status again.Any truth to that?

You best check the condition of the cylinder walls before you invest in rings. They like to peel the crome on the exhaust port bridge.

I'm in the process of putting my SL11 back together after being torn apart to replace the fuel line. The only thing left to do is put a frershly rebuilt HS7A carb on it.I had to use the original HS82A on my PL4 back about 6 weeks ago.I'm wondering if the HS7a will work on the SL11,or will I need to change the carbs around?

So I'm about to pull the trigger on a Remington Pro 88 (106cc) but I'm wondering if there's any rarity to it?

I’ve had two in the past ten years. One I ‘restored’ and the other I sent to Nixa, Mo.

OTOH, a Pro 88G is really scarce. Only found one.

I gave a Benjamin for the gear drive and $60 for the direct drive.
