Rim sprokets

Are the hubs all the same besides the little stihl saws? I’m trying to figure out what to order for a husky 288. Will a regular ole 7 spline 3/8-8 that would go on a stihl 440 work on it? I keep searching and just find a confusing mess. I know they have to match chain pitch and tooth count controls the chain speed. Just asking about hub fit.

The Oregon Rim 68210 7 teeth should work (can also be used on Stihl saws). Also the 8 teeth Stihl Rim 0000 642 1216 should work on the Husky 288 (same inside diameter as the 7 teeth Stihl and Oregon Rim). Please correct me, if I`m wrong.

99.9% sure its the same. 288 will be a large spline.

Good deal guys thanks! Guess I’ll buy a few 8’s since I’m running a 18” bar on the 288 and 440 saws.
