Shade Tree has a Disease?

Lived in house 3 years now, each year this tree loses some leaves right away in spring. Also, more and more dead branches I need to trim. There are others like it with similar issue. Not sure it's kind.

Should I remove? Is it healthy? Thoughts?

Looks like possible lawn weed control herbicide damage to the tree.

That is an ash. That leaf curl looks like anthracnose. I'd certainly be looking for EAB.
