Does anyone have some clues about the original price of 28" Shindaiwa 757 is?
thanks!

I purchased a barely used 757 with 32” bar in 2008 for $500 and thought at the time they were going for around $600 or a little more.
I was later able to get a used good running 757 with 36” bar for $175.
Never purchased a new one.

Alderman is why I never see any used shindaiwas around.... So greedy :)

wow beautiful saw..... Alderman must have been sick that day :)
Funny thing though it did go to a guy in northern Washington. The owner of custom chainsaw parts on eBay. Can’t remember his name anymore. Also known as cheap chainsaw parts. Said it was going in his collection

nice saw - never saw the bigger ones before. how is the blance?
It reminded me a lot of a 372. I’d imagine ported they would be a great fallers saw. Pretty sure parts in the states can be hard to come by though.
