Smoking ms250 help

Afternoon fellas!
I’ve got an ms250 that I’m messing with and it seems to be bellowing exhaust on me. It runs good it just throws more smoke than it should, particularly bad at high rpms. Idles at 2800ish, max at 14000ish (is this too high? Can’t make er go lower without removing the caps) compression is 160.

Any ideas for me? Thanks!

What mix oil and what ratio are you running?

Looks like a new saw. No, it is not too bad, run it a while and burn off the fuel mix and see if it clears up.

50:1 and either stihl ultra or amsoil saber, can’t remember which batch is in it

If it is new, it may clear up like Harley said.

Definitely not new new, but it doesn’t look like it’s been used too much. It’s been sitting for a few years I do believe

Did you dump the old gas out after it sat for a few years? The gas evaporates but leaves the oil behind
