Every time I see this photo, makes me want to vomit.
It doesn't. That image is just more internet misinformation/nonsense.
There is about a 51% chance of getting face-up whatever side is up when you toss it up and let it land. This is actually a mathematically predictable (and observed) % chance of outcome, and it is not based on whatever side is heaviest. That is reduced somewhat by flipping it quickly, which introduces a lot more randomness to any given coin toss. Some people catch and reverse whatever came down, reversing that 51% trend. If the "catch and reverse" technique is somewhat random, you get even closer to a 50/50 chance on any coin toss.
If'n you don't pay attention to whatever side is up when you do the flip, pulling a random coin out of your pocket and then give it a good spinning flip in the air, then the heavy side of the coin will never be a measurable factor in the outcome.
Now if you were to spin a coin on a flat surface and let it settle by chance, the heaviest side will have a somewhat increased incidence of ending up heavy-side down. Obviously, that tendency will be very dependent upon whatever coin imbalance is present in the individual coin being tested.
