I have found that the sheet metal off the sides of older computer towers is the right thickness for mufflers and bar plates for McCulloch saws. With a little work I can make my own. Some Dremel cutoff wheels and a little brazing works wonders and saves $$$.

Likewise, old roofing tin can be bent and cut to any size to fit any application. I tossed about a 1000lbs of it a few years ago, and still have that much and more around the place.

I make 3 different sizes of cut to fit deflectors.

Mild steel, or stainless.
