We had a large maple removed from our front yard in December. My son and I just recently removed all the debris. I was preparing to back fill the hole and plant grass when i realized that there are water puddles now in the hole. I know that my well is in the same general area but not near the hole. It stinks and is very wet in that whole area now. Could this be from the roots?
