Hi everyone,

I frequently use the 4 litre metal containers to power my chainsaw and other 2 stroke equipment.

My question is can this fuel be transferred to a standard jerry can with a spout. I find the metal containers hard to pour into the equipment.

I am hoping I can move the fuel into a jerry can but maybe their is a reason it’s in a metal container in the first place. Is the metal container used to help preserve the fuel?

Any thoughts or answers would be appreciated.
Thanks
Randy

No. You can transfer it to whichever storage containers you want. Metal containers actually aid in attracting moisture in fuels with ethanol, but Motomix contains no ethanol.

I don't use corn fuel but I beg to differ on metal containers.

Properly sealed/capped no moisture will get in, nor will oxygen, or light.
