Stihl 024 super issues

I am trying to rebuild 2 stihl 024 AV supers .I am having trouble finding the correct piston and cylinder .I know that the stroke is longer in these saws, but where does the difference lie in the connecting rod or the piston. Can I use an 026 piston? Thanks

the 024 super has the same stroke as the 026 , you can use the 026 cyl and piston on the 024 super
