Stihl 026 won’t run wide open

As I was about to put the old carb back in I noticed the impulse line didn't seem to have great fit with the carburetor. I had got an extra impulse line with the off brand carburetor which appeared to be longer and tighter on rear portion. I installed the new impulse line with the old OEM carb and made some minor adjustments. I wonder if the first impulse line was for a different saw. The saw now runs great, just like an 026 Stihl should. Put it some wood and no issues. Thanks for all the suggestions!
