I'm putting together a friends Stihl 028av Super chainsaw and I'm confused on how that choke/stop trigger is supposed to be set-up inside the saw. If anyone has a picture of this area of a 028av super I would really appreciate it. I having trouble getting this put back together right where the stop switch will work. Please post any pics for me to look at. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Thanks Harley T; Does the piece on the end of the wire is what touches the flat brass piece to stop the saw?

I noticed a wire that was attached to one of the top covers screw. I couldn't kill the saw when I had it running I guess that was the wire that grounded it out. When I pushed the lever down to choke the saw raced to probably 20,000 rpm. What would cause that?

This was like screaming. I was afraid it was going to throw everything out of it before I could pull the plug wire off.
