Put a carb kit in and the 041 saw, idles great, starts easy, has good compression, but when you give it gas it starts misfiring........any ideals............thanks....

Id start with a new spark plug
I put a new plug in and I thought the gas cap wasn't venting right, but bout ruled that out. It maybe the Ign system as I haven't worked on that yet. I have had several 031's and 032's before and that can be a problem. I was wanting to get by without taking it apart other than the carb, but it usually doesn't work out like that.

Capacitor as well.
I just got the saw a few days ago and it seems like it oils pretty heavy also. Even set on the lowest point. Is this common or does something need fixed.
