How much can you change the sprocket before the chain length has to be changed? Or is there enough adjustment in the bar to cover 7T to 9T with the same chain.

7 and 8 will interchange no worries,9 will require a couple extra drivers
try em both, but if your running a 32 i would lean toward the 7
