Stihl 064, 066 HD air filter conversion kit available

I have read elsewhere that the HD air filter conversion kits and HD filter base for Stihl 064 and early 066 were no longer available from Stihl. This kit is for the saws that came with a fleece or mesh-style filter. I just wanted to let everyone know that these are available still. At least in Europe. A few weeks ago I bought a complete kit that came with the HD2 filter and also a separate metal filter base. Both items were readily available. The kit was even in stock! Here in Sweden these parts come with a hefty price tag so I ordered them from England for a reasonable price.



Part number for the kit is 1122 007 1031. The filter base is 1122 120 3411. Note that there is a different part number stamped on the filter base than the sticker. The filter base is surprisingly light although metal!

Is it still possible to get the kit from Europe? Any recommendation on how to order from US?

I just bought it in Germany... Still available for now. The filter base alone seems not available anymore. My carburator was one without the compensation thing, so I ordered a new Walbro 76b because there will be some dust in the future. Will try to use it in the mill for cutting old oak beams pulled from an old barn

Strangely the kit contains the wrong paper sealing under the carb?
And you'll need 1124 121 9100 to seal the carb to the base plate. As it didn't come with the carb i'm stuck right now...

You can make a paper gasket with gasket paper or use a thick magazine/phone book cover. Trace the outline then cut with a razor/utility knife.
