stihl 064 rebuild

Hi all. I just stripped an old 064av I was given. It's had a meltdown, at first the cylinder looked salvageable but upon further inspection I found what appears to be a small bit of chrome missing. what are your opinions, is it a bin job.

Looks to be above the port and about even with the top of the exhaust port the liner missing. That cylinder has been honed hard from the looks . You could put a meteor piston in and hope a ring does not get caught on the liner and hope compression is acceptable all you have to lose is a $33 piston and 30 minutes time.. If acid had been used to remove the transfer and light sanding the cylinder might could have been nice. That honing no doubt removed the liner hole and made the rest thinner.
