Thoughts? Older case and newer style tank?
Guess I can't get a flat top air filter cover for this style?


Well, you have a third wire so it was a Red Light at some point. But, it has a later model tank vent, and obviously a later model control lever.

I suspect a flat top air filter cover would fit anyway. Maybe Jacob will chime in, I have never actually tried it.
 
It's definitely an older saw with the newer style tank.

You can fit a flat-top filter cover to it but it'll be wonkey and won't be supported quite in the way that the bubble-top filter cover would,
which means it'll be susceptible to vibration.

Might just put a newer style top cover on it so it doesn’t look so odd.
 
If it were me I would just throw some aftermarket 660 covers on it and call it a day.

If you buy those aftermarket covers though, you'll need the brass bushings that go in the screw holes. They don't come with those.
