Up for sale is a Stihl 090. This saw was bought by my brother in the fall of 2019 because he had to have one. The magic has worn off and he wants to sell it. The pros are the saw has a clean piston, oils well, and ran pretty good last year. The marks on the piston are not scratches but what appear to be old gas stains on it. The bad things are the original clutch cover was busted into pieces, so my brother got an aftermarket one to replace it, and the recoil has two busted fins. My brother told me the last time he went to start it the saw puked gas out of the muffler and he left it, so it probably needs a fuel line/carb kit as well. Also, one of the wrap brackets is busted and missing the screw and the top cover has a dent in it. Finally, one of the muffler studs unscrews from the cylinder instead of the nut coming off, but the threads are solid. I’d like to get $1000 + shipping for the saw p.h.o., but for another $150 + shipping I’ll include a well used but still good Stihl Rollomatic 41 inch .404 x 0.063 bar and a like new .404 x 0.063 Oregon semi-chisel chain for the aforementioned bar. Or, for $250 + shipping you can get the shown 60 inch Cannon bar and chain. If you buy both bars and the saw I’d drop the total price to $1300 + shipping.
