On the Huskys you have would probably compare more to an 036 Stihl..... A good thread as I read every word and usually that is not the case. We are a throw away society and the new saws fit that category as the older one as long as you can get parts can be economically maintained.
Very true, not much made to last these days, says a lot about our priorities as a people.
 
that choke rod looks way too short with too big loops and def not original, but does someone know how should the choke part even work in the first place?

if i push it down to the triangle mark for a cold start, then the killswitch part will just slide off the whole plastic button/switch shaft thing itself, so what is the trick that should keep the whole thing in 1 piece when even the killswitch itself is too short?
