would not start no spark replaced coil gapped an it started right up ran for a few shut it off started back ten times let it set for about an hour wouldn't start took coil back off replaced with new coil gapped started first pull. started
back on an off for fithteen mins let it set over night now won't start any ideals

Those saws can be tricky to test for spark, as there is so much plastic. The side of the plug needs to be touching the metal of the block. Also, the coil needs to be grounded to the block as well, for it to work.

After it fails to start, remove the spark plug and see if it's wet. If dry, no fuel is getting there from the carb.

Pull tank vent off and see if it will run, if not pull plug out and turn saw upside down and pull recoil about 20 times and leave it sitting upside down to drain crankcase. If still not running Replace fuel and impulse lines, replace carb and intake boot if it's cracked.
