Hey I have a stihl ms 460 and the chain side of the saw has been getting excessively hot, it oils fine clutch drum spins freely. Just wondering if you guys might know what that might be?"

Clutch is slipping and making heat, check chain tension to make sure it's not too tight, remove the clutch drum and side cover and clean it out to get rid of any oil and wood chips in there. Oil can contaminate the clutch and cause it to slip, degrease the inside of the clutch drum and the clutch shoes.
