Hi, does anyone know how to adjust the oiler on a MS181CBE? I have about 5 tanks of gas on the saw (brand new) and it seems to only use about half of the available bar oil per tank of gas...Shouldn't the use of the oil be closer to 1:1 ratio?

Thanks for any help!

Rick

I've looked all over the saw and can't seem to find anything. Thought I'd ask here to see if anone had any ideas for me. Thanks.

Non adjustable oiler on that model.

Higher output oiler is available 1123 640 3201

Thank you for the information. I guess it boils down to, is it hurting the saw if it's not using up a full tank of bar oil or is it a faulty oiler from the factory with it being brand new? This is my first saw I've owned (used plenty of then over the years).

Thanks.

No that's about all the stock oiler puts out.
You can modify it but you have to remove it to enlarge the holes.
