I looked at the husky 445 today. They look cheap and easy to break.
Anyone have any anount of use out of these saws?
The stihl looked a little more rugged but not much.
Anybody got any advise on a echo 450 or 530?

Wow. Going from a 10lb 50cc to a nearly 13.5 lb 55 cc and he's impressed? I may have some stuff to sell him. QUOTE]

I think the part that he's impressed with is the fact that it starts and runs for him every time which is more than either of his MS250 saws did. I've not cut with it, so I can't really comment any more than that.

I had a 445 and I liked it. My dad had a ms250 and we both agreed that we liked the husky better. Neither one of them is power houses, but they work well for what there designed for, and thats occasional wood cutting. The husky seemed to be smoother and the carberator on the stihl wouldnt hold its tune. Had to adjust it alot. Thats what little I know about them, but Im sure either one will serve you bout the same.

Anyone have any likes or dislikes over stihl ms270. It is $100 more then a
ms 250 and $70 more then a husky 445.

A echo 450 costs the same as the ms 270. ($500)
Canadian prices
