Saw is in great shape and had about an hour of use before the original owner scored the cylinder due to the wrong mix. I got it and installed a brand new OEM cylinder, piston, wrist pin, and bearing. I also ported the cylinder and advanced the ignition timing. Compression is 185 and it runs great. Asking 850.00+shipping

How did the ignition advance turn out on an m-tronic ?

Didn't bother it at all. Starts in the first pull or two and runs as a ported saw should. The boys at the Stihl dealership sure like it.

I honestly couldnt tell you , its just what ive read here and the general consensus seems to be it doesnt work out on the m-tronics..i just went with the herd and didnt attempt it , ill give it a try tonight and see how it goes.

Well then, I will just keep the saw and run the snot out of it and see what happens. I could also set it back to stock and see if I notice a difference. Either way I'm really starting to like it.
