It has arrived! Beautifully machined and precision made. It does have that feeling of quality. However, I would have been reluctant to have paid full asking price. I was able to get 25% off and thus bit the bullet.
I was informed, Stihl inflate prices of tools that are intended to go to qualified stihl mechanics when selling to standard customers. It’s to do with them not wanting customers to work on the saws and thus hit us with massive price increases. It’s sad but it’s the way they operate.
