What is the best brand parts for the money and endurance for heavy use?

I tried cross performance from hl supply, and had a little trouble with some of the finishing, pitting at seal at the spark plug hole that I couldn't get to seal. Maybe it was just luck of the draw. Leak on a husky cross over tube, I call it, from bottom to top of cylinder.Should I just try them again.

What did I do to be called the special name Lurker, haha, I guess that's
better than pain in the butt.
