Stihl?

My auction buddy stop to see what was for sale this week. He called and said there was a big White Stihl in a box, in parts. I had to work so I couldn't' go by and look. He said where the clutch and chain should be was a pully and belt. The auction is over so moot point. Do you think this was a concrete saw? He said there was no chain or bar any where near it. Did Stihl ever make a belt drive reduction system like the old Homelites?

Could have been a concrete cutter or demolition saw, Stihl made both.
Could have been a power head adapted for a chainsaw powered winch or some other implement requiring a small gasoline engine to run that could be trigger controlled.

Well, I talked to my cousin today. He went by the auction and someone put the saw back together, it was a concrete saw.
