My neighbour thinks his Southern Beech (nothafagus) has been sunburned from being left to dry outdoors.
I posted about this before but didnt take any pictures.

The pics dont do it justice but you can see a reddish colour on the wood which is not normal apparently.

Thoughts?

Cherry can change from sunlight exposure saw it where a spare board left a light spot on a cherry board

Some woods can lighten or darken from air exposure

Ive heard of walnut being steamed to increase darkwood and even color out

In that case, Mulberry wood definitely comes to mind.

Also how much sun lit it gets during a normal sunny day.

Bet the stuff would still burn. and if they feel it won't I am sure they could find some one to haul off the nasty stuff. If it were in the Michigan tri state area I would haul it off and burn it this winter.
