TAJFUN Logging Winch for tractor.
Tajfun EGV 65 AHKSG
PTO powered logging winch for 50-90hp farm tractor.

This winch is in excellent condition. I bought it brand new in 2012 to harvest some timber on my farm. It has been well maintained and kept undercover. This winch is very user friendly.

This winch has 14500# pulling power and is run off of the tractor pot. It is electric over hydronic and has power out well. It is radio remote controlled and has a wired remote for back up. It has 200’ of 1/2” swage wire rope. For CAT I and II tractors. Weighs 1300#. Has chainsaw and ax holders plus tool storage.

I can see you put Va and NC in your profile info. Close to the ocean or on the other end?

The 14500# most likely is the first wrap on the spool. That is direct pull? What would it be with the spool virtually full.

It is hard to understand what you put. Does the pto turn a hydraulic pump and then that is what powers the winch with electric control, or the pto turns a gear box, tractor hydraulics engage and disengage via electric command, or something else?

I found their website and watched a 3 minute video but still the above remain unclear. I do see a hydraulic pressure gauge on the unit in the video.

Thanks

Where are you located? If it's near Maine I'll pass it on to my brother. His tractor might be a bit too big though? It's about 100hp. 1970s International 1066 I think.

there is only one thing i regret about my uniforest winch and that is I didn't get the remote-controlled version.

Sorry for the late reply. I had a family emergency this week. I am in wytheville va ( where I77 and I81 meet). The winch is powered by the tractor PTO but the controll are electric. When you want to release the brake you push a button, same with power in/out. I ran this on a Kubota m8200 (73 PTO hp) and it was awesome. I could easily winch in an entire 36" red oak after I lombed and toped it. With my set up I could easily on good ground winch in and skid 2 20" trees no problem.

I love the remote.i spent the better part of the last twenty years logging and have run Deere, cat, timber jack and Franklin.... Can't figure out why they never offered a remote on a skidder!!!??!? Sooo handy!
