Catch anything? Looks like a pretty heavily populated area so perhaps not many fish? Was there much info or concern about operation olive branch, which pretty much amounts to an attack on sovereign soil? Much hatred or dismissal of the Kurds in Turkey? Do the Turks draw any distinction between the YPG and PKK armies?

About 20mill in Istanbul from memory.
No hatred towards the Kurds. A large amount of Turks that live in Istanbul are Kurds.
The Turks or should I say Erdogan, foes draw a distinction between the two but he says they are operating together, which the rest of the world doesn't seem to agree.
The Kurds are some if the best fighters in the, world and also were one if the first cultures in the world to give women the vote and recognised them as equals in so far as not discriminating against them.
Erdogan is sending Turkey to hell. He has removed democracy from the country about 4 years ago, made up rubbish regarding the coup, imprisoned about 300,000 people that opposed his removal of democracy, sacked 100's of thousands more from government jobs...it's not looking good and people are now fearing speaking out against him.
That bridge had about 500 fisherman on it...

Thanks. If there's one good thing about him, he's exposing the UN for the batchit crazy, BS club that it is. He plays his 'strategically important' card very well, the bastard.
