So I've been a lurker here for a long time and recently started posting and since cooking BBQ is such a large part of my life....I thought I'd share with y'all.

Long story short we are competition BBQ team and local caterer in the Charlotte,NC area. My primary cooker is a Lang 84 and we cook with nothing but hickory wood. Enjoy the pictures

If anybody has any questions or wants to talk BBQ let's do it. Feel free to post pictures of your own, always willing to talk Q

So I know recipes are somewhat a secret but if you wouldn't mind sharing a rib rub recipe I'm all ears.
People's tendency with anything but especially with BBQ is to way over complicate things.

I have a comp rib rub it goes something like this.
Kosher salt
Course grind black pepper
Brown sugar
Praprika
Cayenne pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder

However when I'm cooking ribs at home....it's just salt and pepper. Let the taste of the meat and smoke shine through

Just seen this thread...great looking pig there! I have to ask about the smoker...nice looking rig! Reverse flow?
