The only saw I ever bought new was my first saw, a Poulan 2300AV (38cc) in about 1982. Still have it. Non-working saws are so much cheaper and fun to fix.

Still trying to find a non working saw to tinker around with but so many people are advertising that they want them on different sales sites here in WA and they are all ready so thin on the ground

Sounds like you need to ship in a shipping container full of them and start tinkering. Sale off what you don't want. Then you would have CAD.

The last saw I bought (Saturday) was $20. That's close to my limit anymore since I don't saw much wood and have over 20 saws...
