    Having a few millers on the deck. Just got waterfront, bobcat is in front of my driveway,, all is fine,, happens every year, first year of temp dykes. home.jpg

    had some Coronas for Cinco de Mayo, What an awful beer. other choice was Dos Equis.
    Not good either way.

    The water is not high enough for the dyke to work, the water behind the dyke was there before placement.
    The bobcat is filling the dyke cages with crush.
    If the water comes up the idea is also to pump the water from behind the dyke back into the lake, lots of water comes up thru the ground.
    The lake has dropped a bit over nite. The big orange tubes are water filled, called a tiger dam,, made in the U.S.A. Google for some good images.
    All was placed by forestry, its all been tested B4.
    My yard had too much water in it to place either dykes, once the water came down they came and sandbagged my place in about an hour.
    We had well over 150% sno pac this year,, lots of flooding, we are doing fine compared to others.
