I'm going to need new refractory bricks for my 90,000 btu ThermoPride wood stove, has anyone on here made their own? Sounds like getting a set made and shipped from ThermoPride is spendy...........

Thanks

Do you have a Tractor Supply store near you? They usually have fire brick in stock. If there isn't anything proprietary about yours, I'd guess the ones they sell would work in your stove.

So put a brick blade on your circular saw and cut them to the size you want.

I have replaced fire brick with stainless steel panels. They never crack or beak and reflect heat back at the wood. A thin sheet of stainless steel will also prevent the baffle from failing.
